Eva is what you call a determined mother, willing to do whatever it takes to make sure she can provide for her family. she remains me of a strong black mother who plays no mess. like when she sets her son plum on fire to save him from killing himself she does it herself without help. She leaves her kids to provide a better life .Which I agree she takes care of business and handles it well. She loves her kids at the same time. while taking in the Dewey's. Who all act as one on one accord. its very disgusting that Hannah sleeps with newly married men. I kind of feel like she's trying to find love in all the wrong places. so far the book has got far more interesting from the beginning. i just wish hannah would love herself enough to know when enough is enough. sula already knows what mommy does, and what she gets from it is that mama likes having sex it makes her happy. which she shouldnt do taht im glad i come from a family with morales, and dignity.
